Mark E. Song, M.D., FACEP, graduated from U.C. Davis School of Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at U.S.C.-L.A. County Medical Center.  He is Board-certified in emergency medicine and has practiced full time in the ER for 30 years, having treated over 90,000 patients! Respected for his compassionate and thorough care of his patients, he opened his aesthetic practice in 2007.  With such an extensive background in minor surgical procedures and with an ER doctor's intimate familiarity with facial anatomy,  the transition to aesthetics was a natural one.

Cosmetic and Rejuvenation Treatments

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

One 10-minute treatment—a few tiny injections—and within days there's a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, which can last up to 4 months. Results may vary.

• Avoid anti-inflammatory drugs (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Vioxx, etc.), aspirin, Vitamin E, or Ginko Biloba one week before treatment to reduce the possible side effects of bruising/swelling in the treated area(s).
• You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding to receive treatment.
• You cannot be allergic to eggs or egg products to receive treatment.

Follow-up:
• Treatment effect will take up to 1 week days on average and will last 3-6 months in duration.
• If you have not received your expected results after 2 weeks, please inform us. Additional units may be purchased to achieve desired result.
• Follow up treatments should be scheduled prior to return of full movement of muscle, usually at 3-6 months.
• Consistent repeated treatments will produce the best resolution of wrinkles.
